FEES: Fees are regulated by the California Secretary of State. The cost of notary service is $15.00 per signature, per notarized page. This includes: Acknowledgments, Jurats, Oaths and Copy Certifications.
Examples: If 1 person is expected to sign and notarize 1 single document, the cost will be $15.00. If 2 people (i.e. husband and wife) are expected to sign and notarize 1 single document, the cost will be $30.00.
TRAVEL CHARGES: As a mobile service, all appointments will incur a travel fee that is agreed upon ahead of time. Travel charges are additional and are calculated for each individual appointment as a separate fee from the notarization. Fees charged will differ depending on distance and time to the location. No two notarization services are exactly alike, our fees reflect this. Some require a lengthy appointment, while others may require only the completion of a simple form. To allow for expedient notarization without incurring additional fees, please be certain all documents are completely and appropriately completed. Travel fees start at $10.00.
For any appointment, if the signer fails to arrive at the scheduled appointment time, CM Notary Service will wait no less than 20 minutes for their arrival before a miscellaneous charge will be applied. For each additional 15 minutes of wait time, a charge of $15 will be applied to the cost of service. Late night and holiday charges will be determined as needed.
Notary services may be provided at the CM Notary Service office, private homes, care homes, hospitals, and other places of residence and business, upon request.
